STEP 01: AFFILIATION
- The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE, New Delhi).
- The medium of instruction is English.
STEP 02: FACULTY
- The school has dedicated and competent faculty members.
- They are highly qualified and are encouraged to attend professional development programmes to be in tune with the latest trends in the field of education and specifically in their areas of specialisation.
- Teachers use technology to make the teaching & learning process more effective.
STEP 03: CURRICULAR AREAS
The curricular thrust of the school concentrates on five different segments:
Kindergarten (LKG & UKG):
- The emphasis at this stage is on learning of concepts through hands-on activities, play methods, good habit formation and language development through inquiry based learning.
Primary (Classes 1 to 5):
- The focus shifts to formal education.
- In addition, the curriculum offers ample exposure to various subjects through creative activities and experiential learning.
Middle School (Classes 6 to 8):
- The stress is on knowledge acquisition and collating information.
- Creative activities and computer embedded learning blend with the curriculum.
Secondary School (Classes 9 & 10):
- Academics becomes the focal point.
- Along with the five core subjects, Artificial Intelligence is the compulsory sixth subject.
Senior Secondary School (Classes 11 & 12):
- The thrust is towards achievement.
- The school aims at bettering the performance of the students.
- This enables them to secure admission in quality institutions for higher education.
- Critical thinking, analysing and self learning are encouraged.
- Science, Commerce and Humanities Streams are offered.
STEP 04: LANGUAGES
The school follows the three language formula of CBSE. Tamil, Hindi, Sanskrit and French are offered as languages in the curriculum.
Classes 1 to 4:
- Hindi or Tamil can be taken up as the second and third language.
- However the same language cannot be learned as the second and third language.
Classes 5 to 8:
- The second language can be any one of the four: Tamil, Hindi, Sanskrit or French.
- If the student opts for Hindi, Sanskrit or French as the second language, then the third language will have to be Tamil.
- If the student opts for Tamil as the second language, then the third language can be either Hindi or Sanskrit.
Classes 9 & 10:
- The second language can be any of the four: Tamil, Hindi, Sanskrit or French.
- If the student opts for Hindi, Sanskrit or French as the second language, then basic Tamil has to be studied compulsorily.
- If the student opts for Tamil as the second language, then basic Hindi has to be studied compulsorily.
